Research activity

Laser applications in medicine, photosensitive materials, fiberoptics sensor, optical fibers in medicine, optical methods for reconstructing the 3-D object shapes from a 2-D endoscopic images, interferometric techniques, moiré techniques, deflectometry and holography in biomedicine, computers in medicine, computer aided analysis of interferometric patterns from examination of biological objects, laser tissue-interaction, changes in enzymes activity upon laser irradiation, sol-gel technologies, sol gel based sensors, the optical and physico-chemical properties of different photosensitive dyes entrapped into the sol-gel matrices, transillumination methods, thermal imaging, physical medicine.
